NCEA 2012

Welcome to the 2012 NCEA Convention's Local HQ!

This year's Convention will be hosted by the 11 Dioceses of New England and take place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Mark your calendars for April 11 - 13, 2012!

We'll use this site to coordinate volunteers, provide a communications network, and keep you up to date on current Convention events. It's hard to believe that the Opening Ceremonies will take place in just a few days!

What is the NCEA National Convention?

We're glad you asked! Each year, the Convention provides a unique gathering point for thousands of Catholic educators from across the country to gather for professional development sessions, share best practices, and catch up with old friends. In addition to meeting with Convention exhibitors, Conference attendees have the opportunity to hear from some of the region's strongest and most compelling speakers and take in some of the local scenery. For a preliminary list of Professional Development Session offerings, peruse the preliminary program!

The various Convention committees work hard to ensure that guests make the most of their time in Boston/New England, and have the opportunity to appreciate the culture and achievements of our schools and the surrounding area. This year's Convention coincides with the 116th running of the Boston Marathon! The race course runs right by the Convention site. Here's a course map for your reference!
